PLEASE READ – What to do if you lose access
If you lose access to the site, document what you last did right before it happened, copy the error messages to Notepad or Word or something, and include the URL that it happened at. Take that information, and email it directly to KD0JEJ@gmail.com. I am also on Windows Live on that address, for anyone that wants to contact me.
Above all, DO NOT POST WITH AN IMAGE IN THE POST, or the host will block you. I’m trying to beat the snot out of them until they fix this stupid error… The emailing of logs to me should help us catch an issue in my host’s firewall module, because I’m SUPPOSED to be whitelisted. UPDATE: It looks like they fixed the Internal Server Error for the THIRD time, by disabling mod_security once again…

Aims
Aims. Aims are a good thing to have, but whether you have the motivation to achieve your aims, is the problem. Motivation is a rare thing in your standard person, if we’re honest, we can say that probably over 50% of people are very lazy. If you’re like me, you say you really want to do something – but never get around to doing it. I’ve got some aims for my life, and this year, that I’d love to achieve, but then as I said, whether I have the motivation to try and get these aims, is a different matter. There are things that can motivate us to achieve them, such as chocolate, coffee, people motivating us, telling us that we’re doing well and that we shouldn’t give up on life and people and go to our lonely computer desk for the rest of our teenage years, etc.

Internet Browser Wars Pt. 1: Speed & Resources
It seems that there are now such things as browser wars, just like how there are console wars in the video game industry. Then again, everything these days concerning multimedia seems to be about who or what is “better” than the others, right? For the next couple of days, I will be testing and comparing the following browsers: Arora, Avant, Enigma, Chrome, Enigma, Firefox, Flock, Internet Explorer 8, K-Meleon, Maxthon, Opera 10.10, Opera 10.5 alpha, Safari, and Sea Monkey. There are already many of these types of posts (or even videos) online, but none of them really crack down on each browser in detail, and I have yet to see anyone mention the more obscure options, like Avant. I will try to cover the subject to the best of my ability. Users may disagree with a thing or two that I say, but that is just your opinion. Keep this topic civilized.

Review & Demo: B-52 AT-212
I decided I’d do a review and a demo of my main live amp. Unfortunately, I have to sell it due to my plans on eventually moving into an apartment, and the fact that I need something for easier recording. But, that doesn’t make this amp bad. SuperNova Networks Host Issue Resolved…Sorta
So, as many of you may have noticed a couple of days ago, we had some server downtime, and I was LIVID because the responses to my support tickets were less than satisfactory. Apparently, the server has been up this whole time, but myself and my brother kept getting blacklisted by their firewall!
This was due to mod_security in their Apache installation was treating Wordpress Update Post when there is an image in the post as a “SQL Injection Attack.” I got on the phone with them because I was sick and tired of not getting good responses to my support tickets, and they finally fixed the issue. I’ve decided to give them one more chance, but it’s contingent upon them making it right with me in terms of the hosting plan billing, so I will update later on the results. Constant Downtime & Errors
KD0JEJ UPDATE 1/31/2010 1027 Central: It’s not downtime, it’s the host’s Apache module and firewall blocking the admins from updating posts.
Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience. Our host, Supernova has pissed us off a dozen or more times over the past couple of days and we are planning on switching hosts. We were offered some fairly good deals to make up for what we’ve lost, such as whitelisting, 100GB of transfer, etc..but no. That is just like covering a piece of trash up with sprinkles and thinking that everything’s fine. On behalf of KD0JEJ, I’m announcing that we will have a future series of things related to this issue, such as reviews, snippets, and the history of our experience with this company.
Having that said, any recommendations on good hosting services are welcome. We must switch ASAP. When we do switch services, we may be moving to a different URL. If we do, it will be digimantis.net instead of .com
