Aims
Aims. Aims are a good thing to have, but whether you have the motivation to achieve your aims, is the problem. Motivation is a rare thing in your standard person, if we’re honest, we can say that probably over 50% of people are very lazy. If you’re like me, you say you really want to do something – but never get around to doing it. I’ve got some aims for my life, and this year, that I’d love to achieve, but then as I said, whether I have the motivation to try and get these aims, is a different matter. There are things that can motivate us to achieve them, such as chocolate, coffee, people motivating us, telling us that we’re doing well and that we shouldn’t give up on life and people and go to our lonely computer desk for the rest of our teenage years, etc.
Famous people such as Hitler had aims, his aims not being the best of all aims… But, he achieved his aims (even if it was for the worse…) So, my aims for 2010 are:
- Portrait photography
- Get in a reasonably good band
- Try to be a bit more social
- Try to be a bit more active
- Try to restrain myself from taking the piss of everyone I encounter
- Get good exam results for some of my GCSEs
- Try to build some good websites, possibly flash based
- Turn this blog into something good and reasonably well known
- Go out more for photography
- If I get a band, make it good
- Improve on guitar skills, trying not to “bounce” my right hand in a SRV style motion as much
That’s about it for my aims. If you want, tell us your aims!
