Advertising DigiMantis: Calling All Members

As you all can see, DigiMantis has seen a sudden rise in activity. I think this is the right time that we all start an effort to advertise this place as much as possible to keep everything alive. DigiMantis has a massive potential of becoming a very popular site in the future, as long as we play our cards right and as long as us administrators keep adding features and fixing any possible annoyance to make a better user experience. There are possible plans on starting a dedicated DigiMantis Twitter, and YouTube channel.
Personally, the way I will go about doing YouTube videos is to go by a specific format that is distinct to our name (like a title screen) and basically, whenever I make a post of my own, I will make a vlog about it, only it will be much less in depth than the post. That will give people the intent of seeing the full post, and maybe even discussing on the website.
But yeah, calling all members: please comment on this post. Give us suggestions. Tell us what you can do, and tell us what you think we can do to improve things, and to market DigiMantis. Also, get out there and start posting our link, banners, whatever wherever you can. To get our ad banners and whatnot, just click “Link Us” on the navigation bar. (as if that wasn’t obvious)

I’m loving the liveliness around here
A shared YouTube channel might be a good idea, so when someone makes a post they can upload a short intro of it to YouTube, a twitter is also a good idea, many blogs such as TechXav have twitter. I’ve put an affiliate button on my blog to you guys http://timn96.wordpress.com/ , I’ll try to stick some banners up over my various places on the internet, I’ll put it in my various forum signatures etc.
I like the colours at the moment, but you could get users to vote on whether they like it or not.
Some more pages maybe? Such as, “Our top 5’s”, and have like “our top 5 internet browsers” “our top 5 games consoles” type of thing.
Maybe a showcase/gallery for art whether it be digital or not.
Care to elaborate a bit more on that?
You could create some static pages that just stay there, like your Database page, but for Top 5s, in different areas
“Top 5 Essential Freeware”
“Top 5 Budget MP3 players”
“Top Antivirus Software”

The gallery is a vague idea, just somewhere where people can show off their work basically.
I’ll think about the gallery thing once we get a bit more activity going. I would like to somehow make this place a little easier to navigate. Like having an advanced search option. I’ll be looking for something like that here shortly.
Also, those top lists should really go in a Top Lists category, to be honest. I’ll definitely do that as well once some Digi members get with me and discuss these lists.
I will let everyone i know. I think the site is amazing. I will be the resident wrestling buff because I do watch every pro wrestling show out there. I will review every match and try to keep my personal feelings out about the wrestlers. I’ll let everyone know what’s going on the shows. Raw,Smackdown,ECW and TNA.
