Community Rules
-Respect fellow members
-Don’t post for the sole reason of bumping someone else’s post off of the home page.
-Anything else concerning the community can be seen on the bottom ‘Other Notes’ section.
Posting Policy
-While we appreciate all member contributions, the post content submitted must be reasonably varied, especially for heavy contributors. This means that if your posts only cover one particular topic, and it becomes a nuisance to other contributors, the content may not be approved.
-While we do not expect all contributors to have a masters degree in English Composition, we do expect proper spelling and grammar.
-Blog post must be in logical paragraph format. This means that your paragraphs have to begin with a main idea, and have supporting details. A blog post must not be used to take notes or transcribe an event.
-Do not plaigairize or copy another site/blog’s work. You may, however provide comment and editorial on the posts from another site, but you cannot copy the content of the post. Instead, simply link to that post.
-A blog post must have appropriate tags entered, and in a proper Category. If at all possible, please search for an existing category before creating a new one.
-You may not use blog posts to advertise a product or your site without express and prior consent from the admins. We have a zero tolerance policy on this.
-If your post contains images, please thumbnail and link them if they happen to stretch the page.
-Rants are okay, but blogs will not be used in ways such as a “status Update.” That is what Twitter is for.
-No adult content, such as pornography and other vulgar material in the same category.
Other Notes
-If you, the reader did not fully read the above rules, you are agreeing that you will do the simple task of using common sense, which is what they essentially are anyway.
-Authors who do not follow the posting guidelines will be demoted back to ‘Contributor’ after 3 warnings.
-Contributors who do not follow posting guidelines will simply not have their post approved at all.
-Things such as abusive posts/comments, trolling, plagiarism, copyright infringement, defamation, slander, and anything else that could be deemed illegal will not be tolerated, and could ultimately get you banned. Warnings are at admin discretion. You may or may not receive a warning before a ban, when you exhibit this behavior.
